Key facts

Select this product for Molecular Innovations name, Biotin-labeled Rabbit anti-Bovine Serum Albumin, Affinity Purified and product number, ASBSA-GF-HT-BIO. Rabbit Anti Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) Polyclonal Affinity Purified Biotin Labeled from Innovative Research is a polyclonal antibody that has been purified by immobilized bovine serum albumin (BSA), followed by biotin conjugation. This is a frozen liquid buffered in 0.05M Sodium Phosphate; 0.1M NaCl; 1mM EDTA; pH 6.6. The affinity isolated antigen-specific antibody was purified from whole antiserum by immunospecific purification using antigen-bound agarose. This process removes the host serum proteins (including immunoglobulins) that do not specifically bind to the target antigen. This antibody preparation has the lowest amount of non-specific binding and therefore the highest titer. More Details: Host: Rabbit Species: Bovine (cross reactivity with Human) Target: Albumin (BSA) Purity: Antigen Affinity Purified Clonality: Polyclonal This product can be used for applications like ELISA, Western Blot, and more. At Innovative Research, we provide reliable, consistent products that deliver reliable, consistent results. Please note ŌĆō this product replaces our old product number IASBSA-GF-HT-BIO (same product, new number).

Curious About The Best Way To Thaw Plasma?

    • Preheat a water bath to 37 C.
    • Place the frozen plasma sample directly in the water bath.
    • Gently agitate the plasma sample every 5-10 minutes to insure even thawing.
    • The total thawing time will depend on the frozen sample volume. A 10 ml sample might be thawed completely in 5 minutes, but a large sample could take up to 1 hour.
    • The thawed sample should be used immediately or stored at 4 C for up to 24 hours. Liquid plasma should never be kept on ice or stored below 0 C as the cold may cause clotting.
    • Plasma should be visually inspected for signs of clotting or precipitation before use in experiments. A coagulation test such as aPTT can also be performed to verify the preservation of the hemostasis system.
    • Plasma should always be snap-frozen by placing the tube in dry ice for at least 1 hour. Large containers can be covered in dry ice for even freezing.
    • Frozen plasma should be stored at –20 C or colder. Lower temperatures will help preserve labile plasma proteins for longer time periods.
