Pooled Human AB Serum Plasma Derived Heat Inactivated
Pooled Human AB Serum Plasma Derived and Heat Inactivated from Innovative Research is collected from male donors with blood type AB. The plasma (collected via apheresis) is processed into serum at FDA-licensed facilities located in the United States. Our Pooled Human AB Serum is filtered and cell culture tested for mycoplasma, endotoxin, and sterility. The serum then undergoes a heat inactivation process to destroy complement activity. This product is suitable for use in cell culture applications.
Each unit is tested for the standard FDA-required viral markers, and found negative for HBsAg, HCV, HIV-1, HIV-2, HIV-1Ag or HIV-1 NAT, ALT, and syphilis using FDA-approved methods.
Please note - this product replaces our old product number IPLA-SERAB-HI, Pooled Normal Human AB Serum Heat Inactivated (same product, new number).
