Inhibitory monoclonal antibody to rat PAI-1. It has recently been reported that binding of this antibody to rat PAI-1 inhibits rat PAI-1 activity and simultaneously increases the binding of inactive PAI-1 to vitronectin. This antibody demonstrates low affinity for, and inhibition of, glycosylated rat PAI-1. Can be used as a capture antibody in ELISA assays. Purified by immobilized Protein A. IgG1k class.
