Mouse WNT Inhibitory Factor 1 ELISA Kit
IMSWIF1KTThis Mouse WNT Inhibitory Factor 1 ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for quantitative detection of mouse WIF1 in cell culture supernates, cell lysates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.
This mouse WIF1 ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from rat specific for WIF1 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: G29-W379) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for WIF1 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the mouse WIF1 amount of sample captured in plate.

Additional Information: The capture antibody is a monoclonal antibody from rat, the detection antibody is a biotinylated polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Wnt inhibitory factor 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the WIF1 gene. The protein encoded by this gene functions to inhibit WNT proteins, which are extracellular signaling molecules that play a role in embryonic development. Additionally, this protein contains a WNT inhibitory factor (WIF) domain and five epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like domains, and is thought to be involved in mesoderm segmentation. This gene functions as a tumor suppressor gene, and has been found to be epigenetically silenced in various cancers.; Immunogen sequence: 369
