Mouse Phospholipase A2 Membrane Associated ELISA Kit
IMSPLA2G2AKTThis Mouse Phospholipase A2 Membrane Associated ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for quantitative detection of mouse PLA2G2A in cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.
This mouse PLA2G2A ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from rat specific for PLA2G2A has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: sf21, Immunogen sequence: N22-C146) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for PLA2G2A is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human Fibronectin amount of sample captured in plate.

Additional Information: The capture antibody is a monoclonal antibody from rat, the detection antibody is a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Phospholipase A2, membrane associated is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the PLA2G2A gene. It is mapped to 4 D3; 4 70.57 cM. Proteins belonging to the phospholipase A2 (PLA2) family hydrolyze phospholipids into sn2 fatty acids and lysophospholipids. They function in a variety of cellular processes, including the digestion of phospholipids and the production of molecules that induce inflammatory responses. This gene encodes a member of the group II class of secretory PLA2s. The secreted enzyme binds to heparin on the cell surface. Mutations in this gene increase the occurrence of intestinal polyps caused by a dominant mutation in the adenomatosis polyposis coli gene. A frameshift inactivates this gene product in some mouse strains including the strain of the reference genome, C57BL/6J, whereas a functional protein is produced in other strains.; Immunogen sequence: 333
