Mouse Matrilin 2 ELISA Kit
IMSMATN2KTThis Mouse Matrilin 2 ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for quantitative detection of mouse Matrilin-2 in cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.
This mouse Matrilin-2 ELISA Kit is based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from rat specific for Matrilin-2 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: R24-R956) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for Matrilin-2 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex is added and unbound conjugates are washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB are used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB is catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the mouse Matrilin-2 amount of sample captured in plate.

Additional Information: The capture antibody is a monoclonal antibody from rat, the detection antibody is a biotinylated polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Matrilin-2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MATN2 gene. This gene is mapped to 15; 15 B3.1. This gene encodes a member of the von Willebrand factor A domain containing protein family. This family of proteins is thought to be involved in the formation of filamentous networks in the extracellular matrices of various tissues. This protein contains five von Willebrand factor A domains. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.; Immunogen sequence: 369
