This Mouse Lymphotoxin-Beta Receptor (TNFRSF3) Sandwich ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for quantitative detection of mouse LTBR in cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.

This mouse LTBR Sandwich ELISA Kit is based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from rat specific for LTBR has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: Q31-L223) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for LTBR is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex is added and unbound conjugates are washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB are used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB is catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the mouse LTBR amount of sample captured in plate.

Additional Information:

The capture antibody is a monoclonal antibody from rat, the detection antibody is a biotinylated polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Lymphotoxin beta receptor (LTBR), also known as tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 3 (TNFRSF3), is a cell surface receptor for lymphotoxin involved in apoptosis and cytokine release. This gene is mapped to 6 F3; 6 59.32 cM. This gene encodes a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. The major ligands of this receptor include lymphotoxin alpha/beta and tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 14. The encoded protein plays a role in signalling during the development of lymphoid and other organs, lipid metabolism, immune response, and programmed cell death. Activity of this receptor has also been linked to carcinogenesis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed.; Immunogen sequence: 369
