Mouse GDNF Family Receptor Alpha-1 (GFRA1) ELISA Kit
IMSGFRA1KTThis Mouse GDNF Family Receptor Alpha-1 (GFRA1) ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for quantitative detection of mouse GFRA1 in cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA, citrate). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.
This mouse GFRA1 ELISA Kit is based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from rat specific for GFRA1 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: D25-S430) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for GFRA1 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex is added and unbound conjugates are washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB are used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB is catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the mouse GFRA1 amount of sample captured in plate.

Additional Information: The capture antibody is a monoclonal antibody from rat, the detection antibody is a biotinylated polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: GDNF family receptor alpha-1 (GFR?1), also known as the GDNF receptor, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GFRA1 gene. It is mapped to 19 D2; 19 54.18 cM. Glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) and neurturin (NTN) are two structurally related, potent neurotrophic factors that play key roles in the control of neuron survival and differentiation. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the GDNF receptor family. It is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol(GPI)-linked cell surface receptor for both GDNF and NTN, and mediates activation of the RET tyrosine kinase receptor. This gene is a candidate gene for Hirschsprung disease. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.GDNF family receptor alpha 1 has been shown to interact with GDNF and RET proto-oncogene.; Immunogen sequence: 369
