This Mouse Cysteine-Rich With EGF-Like Domain Protein 2 (CRELD2) ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for quantitative detection of mouse CRELD2 in cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.

This mouse CRELD2 ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from rat specific for CRELD2 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: S23-L350) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for CRELD2 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human Fibronectin amount of sample captured in plate.

Expression system for standard: Cysteine-rich with EGF-like domain protein 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CRELD2 gene. It is mapped to 15; 15 E3. CRELD2 was identified by searching a sequence database using CRELD1 as the query. Like CRELD1, with which it shares 38% amino acid identity, the deduced 321-amino acid CRELD2 protein contains EGF-like repeats and a highly conserved domain rich in glutamic acid and tryptophan (WE domain). The major distinction between CRELD1 and CRELD2 is that CRELD1 has 2 type III transmembrane domains in its C terminus, while CRELD2 has none.
