This Mouse Cadherin-17 ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for quantitative detection of mouse Cadherin-17 in cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (heparin). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.
This mouse Cadherin-17 ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from rat specific for Cadherin-17 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: F26-S827) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for Cadherin-17 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substmousee TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human Fibronectin amount of sample captured in plate.

Expression system for standard: Cadherin-17 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CDH17 gene. It is mapped to 4; 4 A1. This gene is a member of the cadherin superfamily, genes encoding calcium-dependent, membrane-associated glycoproteins. The encoded protein is cadherin-like, consisting of an extracellular region, containing 7 cadherin domains, and a transmembrane region but lacking the conserved cytoplasmic domain. The protein is a component of the gastrointestinal tract and pancreatic ducts, acting as an intestinal proton-dependent peptide transporter in the first step in oral absorption of many medically important peptide-based drugs.
