This Human Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 21 (CD358) Sandwich ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for quantitative detection of human TNFRSF21 in cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA, citrate). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.

This human TNFRSF21/DR6 Sandwich ELISA Kit is based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from mouse specific for TNFRSF21/DR6 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: Q42-H349) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for TNFRSF21/DR6 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex is added and unbound conjugates are washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB are used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB is catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human TNFRSF21/DR6 amount of sample captured in plate.

Additional Information:

The capture antibody is a monoclonal antibody from mouse, the detection antibody is a biotinylated polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Death receptor 6 (DR6), also known as tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 21 (TNFRSF21), is a cell surface receptor of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily which activates the JNK and NF-?B pathways. This gene is mapped to 6p12.3. This gene encodes a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. The encoded protein activates nuclear factor kappa-B and mitogen-activated protein kinase 8 (also called c-Jun N-terminal kinase 1), and induces cell apoptosis. Through its death domain, the encoded receptor interacts with tumor necrosis factor receptor type 1-associated death domain (TRADD) protein, which is known to mediate signal transduction of tumor necrosis factor receptors. Knockout studies in mice suggest that this gene plays a role in T-helper cell activation, and may be involved in inflammation and immune regulation.; Immunogen sequence: 369
