This Human Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid Cells 1 (TREM-1) ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for quantitative detection of Human TREM-1 in cell culture supernates, lysates, tissue, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.

This human TREM-1 ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from human specific for TREM-1 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: A21-R200) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for TREM-1 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substmousee TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human Fibronectin amount of sample captured in plate.

Additional Information: The capture antibody is A monoclonal antibody from mouse, the detection antibody is a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TREM1 gene. It is mapped to 6p21.1. This gene encodes a receptor belonging to the Ig superfamily that is expressed on myeloid cells. This protein amplifies neutrophil and monocyte-mediated inflammatory responses triggered by bacterial and fungal infections by stimulating release of pro-inflammatory chemokines and cytokines, as well as increased surface expression of cell activation markers. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been noted for this gene.; Immunogen sequence: 369
