Human Platelet-Derived Growth Factor D ELISA Kit
IHUPDGFDKTThis Human Platelet-Derived Growth Factor D ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for quantitative detection of human PDGF-DD in cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.
This human PDGF-DD ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from mouse specific for PDGF-DD has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards (Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: S250-R370? and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for PDGF-DD is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human PDGF-DD amount of sample captured in plate.

Additional Information: The capture antibody is a monoclonal antibody from mouse, the detection antibody is a biotinylated polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) is one of numerous growth factors that regulate cell growth and division. The PDGF family consists of PDGF-A, -B, -C and -D, which form either homo- or heterodimers (PDGF-AA, -AB, -BB, -CC, -DD). The four members of this family are mitogenic factors for cells of mesenchymal origin and are characterized by a core motif of eight cysteines, seven of which are found in this factor. This gene product only forms homodimers and, therefore, does not dimerize with the other three family members. It differs from alpha and beta members of this family in having an unusual N-terminal domain, the CUB domain. Two splice variants have been identified for this gene. ; Immunogen sequence: 369
