Human Matrix Metalloproteinease-10 (Stromelysin-2) ELISA Kit
IHUMMP10KTThis Human Matrix Metalloproteinease-10 (Stromelysin-2) ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for Quantitative Detection of human MMP-10 in cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (heparin). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.
This human MMP-10 ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from mouse specific for MMP-10 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards (Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: Y18-C476) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for MMP-10 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human MMP-10 amount of sample captured in plate.

Additional Information: The capture antibody is a monoclonal antibody from mouse, the detection antibody is a biotinylated polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Stromelysin-2 also known as matrix metalloproteinase-10 (MMP-10) or transin-2 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the MMP10 gene. Proteins of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family are involved in the breakdown of extracellular matrix in normal physiological processes, such as embryonic development, reproduction, and tissue remodeling, as well as in disease processes, such as arthritis and metastasis. Most MMP's are secreted as inactive proproteins which are activated when cleaved by extracellular proteinases. The enzyme encoded by this gene degrades proteoglycans and fibronectin. The gene is part of a cluster of MMP genes which localize to chromosome 11q22.3.; Immunogen sequence: 369
