Human Fucosyltransferase 8 (FUT8) ELISA Kit
IHUFUT8KTThis Human Fucosyltransferase 8 (FUT8) ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for quantitative detection of human FUT8 in cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.
This human FUT8 ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from mouse specific for FUT8 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: R31-K575) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for FUT8 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substmousee TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human Fibronectin amount of sample captured in plate.

Additional Information: The capture antibody is a monoclonal antibody from mouse, the detection antibody is a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Alpha-(1,6)-fucosyltransferase is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the FUT8 gene. It is mapped to 14q23.3. This gene encodes an enzyme belonging to the family of fucosyltransferases. The product of this gene catalyzes the transfer of fucose from GDP-fucose to N-linked type complex glycopeptides. This enzyme is distinct from other fucosyltransferases which catalyze alpha1-2, alpha1-3, and alpha1-4 fucose addition. The expression of this gene may contribute to the malignancy of cancer cells and to their invasive and metastatic capabilities. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. ; Immunogen sequence: 369
