Goats were immunized with purified human hemoglobin. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant the goats were bled and serum collected. The antibodies were isolated by immunoaffinity chromatography and conjugated with horseradish peroxidase.

The affinity purified antibody forms a single line of precipitation with human adult hemoglobin A1, A2, F and S by immunoelectrophoresis. There is no reaction with human serum proteins. Suggested using at 0.1?g/mL for ELISA assays and 0.2 ?g/mL for blotting assays. Optimal working dilutions should be determined for your particular assay conditions.This product can be used for a wide range of research applications, including ELISA: 0.1 - 0.01 ug/ml, IHC: 5.0 - 1.0 ug/ml, WB: 0.5 - 0.05ug/ml.
