Goats were immunized with biotinylated protein carrier in Freunds adjuvant. Following multiple immunizations the immune serum was passed over a solid phase immunoabsorbant containing a biotinylated carrier (Lysine-Biotin) unrelated to the immunizing hapten-carrier and the anti-biotin antibodies affinity isolated.
