Chickens were immunized with highly purified rabbit IgG isolated from normal pooled rabbit serum, in Freund’s adjuvant. Eggs were collected, the IgY fraction prepared and the anti-rabbit IgG immunoaffinity purified off a solid phase immunoabsorbant. The anti-rabbit IgG was further absorbed against mouse and human IgG.
