Thrombin Chromogenic Substrate Lyophillized from Innovative Research has been synthesized to be chemically and functionally identical to Chromogenix S-2238. This is a Lyophilized powder buffered in mannitol and a purity of >98% by HPLC analysis.

This product is useful for for chromogenic determination of thrombin activity. For best results add 4.0 ml of 1mM HCl directly to vial to make a 10mM stock solution then aliquot and freeze. Dilute 1:50 in PBS or TBS to make an 0.2mM working solution. Add 0.1 ml test sample to 0.9 ml substrate and monitor color development at 405nm. Molecular Weight: 625.6 Da.
