Human PAI-1 uPA Complex from Innovative Research has been recombinantly produced in E. coli (PAI-1) and human urine (uPA) and purified by affinity chromatography. This is a Frozen liquid buffered in 0.05M Sodium Acetate; 0.1M NaCl; 1mM EDTA; pH 5.0 with a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml and a purity of >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Additional Information:
Human PAI-1 has four mutations (K154T, Q319L, M354I and N150H) that combine to create stability in the labile molecule, "locking" it to its active conformation. This PAI-1/uPA complex modifes the stable mutant by reacting with native human urokinase at physiological pH to generate a 1:1 molar complex.
