Human PAI-1 Recombinant P14 Arginine Mutant Substrate from Innovative Research has been recombinantly produced in E. coli and purified by affinity chromatography. Additional Information:
A single substitution in the reactive center loop (at P14) produces PAI-1 that functions as a substrate for proteinases rather than as an inhibitor. Reactive center loop insertion follows protease cleavage, and as a result, the PAI-1 loses its vitronectin binding properties. This molecule is useful for mechanistic studies.
