Select this product for Molecular Innovations name, Soluble Dog Fibrin and product number, DFBGN-S. Canine Fibrin Soluble Purified from Innovative Research has been purified from US origin dog plasma by a proprietary combination of conventional chromatographic techniques. This is a Frozen liquid buffered in 0.02M Acetic Acid; pH 3.6 and a concentration 4.0 mg/ml and a purity of >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. More Details: Species: Canine Target:Fibringen Purification Method: Chromatographically purified Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE Analysis Source: Dog plasma Storage Conditions: -70 C
Additional Information:
Dog (canine) fibrinogen is allowed to clot then is dissociated using non-denaturing conditions. The soluble fibrin clot is then stored under acidic conditions. The soluble fibrin will reassemble into an insoluble clot when pH is restored to neutral (e.g. by adding one-tenth volume of 10X PBS to the soluble fibrin). SDS-PAGE shows partially crosslinked fibrin with no observable free alpha, beta or gamma chain subunits. No detectable thrombin or plasmin activity is observed in the final product. This product can be used as a positive control for ELISA and western blot and for a variety of in vitro applications including clotting assays, fibrinolysis, hemostasis, protein-protein interactions, thromboelastography, thrombolysis, and moreIn-depth information
