Human Soluble Fibrin Purified from Innovative Research has been purified from human plasma using a proprietary combination of conventional chromatographic techniques. This product is a liquid in frozen format buffered in 0.02M Acetic Acid; pH 3.6 with a purity >95% by SDS-PAGE analysis. The soluble fibrin will reassemble into an insoluble clot when pH is restored to neutral (e.g. by adding one-tenth volume of 10X PBS to the soluble fibrin).

Additional Information:

Reassembled fibrin clots trap high molecular weight compounds such as dextran blue. SDS-PAGE shows partially crosslinked fibrin with no observable free alpha, beta or gamma chain subunits. Abundant plasma proteins such as albumin, IgG, and a1PI are also not observed. No thrombin or plasmin activity is detectable in the final product.
