Human Factor Beta IXa Inactivated Purified
IHUFIXABI500UGHuman Factor Beta IXa Inactivated Purified from Innovative Research has been activated from Human Factor IX using Bovine Factor XIa, then purified to remove the activator. Complete activation was observed by SDS-PAGE analysis. The Factor IXa-beta was then inactivated using chloromethylketone, which was removed by dialysis after inactivation. This is a frozen liquid buffered in 20 mM Tris-HCl/ 0.1 M NaCl/ pH 7.4, with a concentration of 1mg/ml.
Factor XIa activates Factor X first by cleaving an internal Arg-Ala bond, then by cleaving an Arg-Val bond. This second cleavage releases an activation peptide from the NH2-terminal of the heavy chain, producing Factor IXa-beta.
