Human Cathepsin G Purified
IHUCTSG1MGHuman Cathepsin G Purified from Innovative Research has been purified from human neutrophils. This is a liquid buffered in 0.05 M sodium acetate, 0.8 M sodium chloride, pH 5.5, with a concentration of 1-4mg/ml and a purity of greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
This product is useful for applications like Immunoassay, Immunology, Clinical Chemistry, and more. A key player in the body's anti-inflammatory response, Cathepsin G helps to break down tissues at the site of inflammation. It also plays a number of additional roles that include eliminating intracellular pathogens, cleaving receptors, converting angiotensin I to angiotensin II, activating platelets, and more. Cathepsin G is a factor in many diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis and coronary artery disease.
