Human Apolipoprotein A1 Purified from Innovative Research has been purified from human plasma. This product is offered in a frozen liquid format, buffered in 0.01M Ammonium Bicarbonate; pH 7.4, with a purity of >95% by SDS-PAGE analysis. 75% of Apo A in HDL is Apo A1. Levels of Apo A1 are inversely related to the risk of coronary heart disease. Apo A1 is also thought to activate LCAT (lecithin cholesterol acyl tranferase). In normal plasma, Apo A1 levels range from 90-130 mg per 100 ml. Prepared from plasma shown to be non reactive for HbsAG, anti-HCV, anti-HBc, and negative for anti-HIV 1 & 2 by FDA approved tests. >95% pure by SDS-PAGE.
