IHUATIII1MGHuman Antithrombin III Purified from Innovative Research has been purified from human plasma using heparin-agarose affinity chromatography. This is a frozen liquid buffered in 50% (vol/vol) Glycerol/H2O, with a purity of greater 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
Antithrombin is a physiological inhibitor of target enzymes Factor IIa/Thrombin, Factor Xa, and Factor IXa. Antithrombin activity is greatly increased in the presence of the anticoagulant heparin, enhancing the binding of Antithrombin to Factor IIa/Thrombin and Factor Xa.
