DMEM High Glucose Without Phenol Red And With PS is a Classic Basic Medium from Innovative Research. Compared with MEM medium, DMEM (Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium) has twice the content of amino acids, four times the content of vitamins, non-essential amino acids, trace iron ions and sodium pyruvate, and has two types of glucose content, the original 1000mg/L (Low Glucose type) and 4500mg/L (High Glucose type); this latter type in particular has found wide use in cell culture. In particular, high glucose DMEM is widely used in cell culture applications, such as fast growth, low adhesion cells, hybridoma myeloma cells, clone cells, DNA transfected transformation cells, various primary virus host cells, single cell culture and vaccine production. High Glucose DMEM does not contain protein, lipids or growth factors, and therefore should be used with serum or serum-free additives.
