Bovine Factor XIa Purified from Innovative Research has been purified from Bovine Plasma by salt precipitations and activaiton on a negative surface. This is a frozen liquid buffered in 50 mM Tris/ 0.1M sodium chloride/ pH 8.0-HCl and is a crude preparation meant to be used as an affordable approach for activation of IX to IXa. This preparation is a potent activator of Human and Bovine Factor IX. Factor XIa activates Factor IX, and forms a complex with FVIIIa that activates Factor X. Factor XIa is inhibited by protein Z-dependent protease inhibitor (ZPI). More Details: Source: Bovine Plasma freshly collected from US Origin animals less than or equal to 3 years of age.
