Bovine Factor IX Purified from Innovative Research has been purified from bovine plasma. This is a frozen liquid buffered in 20 mM Tris-HCl/ 0.1 M NaCl/ 1mM Benzamidine/ pH 7.4 and a purity of greater than or equal to 94% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis (showing no reduction when incubated with 2-mercaptoethanol). Factor IX produced as a zymogen and plays a role in blood coagulation (activated Factor IX is responsible for the activation of Factor X to Xa).
