Bacteria-Derived Reverse Transcriptase Recombinant HIV from Innovative Research has been chromatographically purified in a dimeric form with M.W. of 66 kDa and 51 kDa. per mg protein. This is a frozen liquid with a concentration of 5,000 units/mg protein.
This product is primarily for AIDS research purposes; this enzyme has less fidelity than other reverse transcriptases in applications such as the preparation of cDNA from mRNA for cloning purposes. A solution in 10 mM potassium phosphate, and 20% glycerol.
