Viral Transport Medium from Innovative Research has been specially formulated to support ongoing viral research and diagnostics. This preparation follows the standard CDC-recommended formulation and contains 2% FBS,100µg /mL Gentamicin, and 0.5 µg /mL Amphotericin in a Hanks Balanced salt solution base.

This product is suitable for a wide range of purposes, including viral collection, transport, maintenance, and culture. This product can be used for long-term freezer storage, molecular assays, rapid antigen testing, and direct fluorescent antibody (DVA) applications as well.

This is a clear liquid with a pale beige tint and is negative for microbial growth after 48 hours at 37C. Please refer to the lot-specific datasheet that ships with your order for exact osmolarity and pH. This product should be stored at 2-8C and will remain stable for one year from date of manufacture. This product is for research use and is not intended for in vivo use.
