GMEM Glasgows MEM is a Classic Basic Medium from Innovative Research. GMEM, Glasgow's MEM, originally developed by Ian McPherson and Michael Stoker, is a modified version of MEM basal medium used to study the influence of genetic factors on cell behavior. GMEM is suitable for the culture of renal cell lines such as BHK-21 and contains twice the concentration of amino acids and vitamins compared to BME (Basal Medium Eagle) medium.
