"... We used an in vitro culture system consisting of isolated pancreatic islets, an extract of pancreatic ductal epithelium and a monoclonal antibody (mAb) to serpin B13 or IgG isotype control. ... IgG isotype control (Innovative Research, Novi, MI, USA) were added to the islet cultures (4 μg/ml each). Antibodies were stored and diluted in phosphate buffered saline (PBS). B29 was validated by western blotting (ESM Fig. 1). ..."
