Mouse Anti Horse Haptogobin Monoclonal Clone 7G5 Lyophilized from Innovative Research is a monoclonal antibody in Lyophilized format, buffered in PBS buffer with non-protein stabilizer with 0.1% sodium azide as a preservative. This mouse IgG1 kappa antibody is purified from tissue culture media using salt fractionation procedures and Protein A chromatography More Details: Host: Mouse Species: Horse Target: anti-Horse Haptoglobin Purification: Affinity Purified Clonality: Monoclonal Clone 7G5 Storage Conditions: 4C Lyophilized material should be kept at 4░C until rehydrated and will remain stable for a minimum of 2 years. Rehydrate by adding 1.0 mL of reagent quality water with preservative to the product vial. Store the liquid solution at 4░C for up to a week; thereafter, aliquots should be prepared and stored frozen. Stable for a minimum of 1 year at -20░C but multiple freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided. When tested by immunoelectrophoresis as an antigen concentration of 3.0 mg/ml, the pattern of precipitation against goat anti mouse whole serum is the same as that against goat anti mouse IgG Fc fragment specific. By Indirect ELISA and Western Blot this product reacts with horse haptoglobin. Optimal working dilutions should be determined for the particular assay conditions. This product can be used for a wide range of research applications, including ELISA: Assay Dependent, WB: Assay Dependent. At Innovative Research, we provide reliable, consistent products that deliver reliable, consistent results.
- Preheat a water bath to 37 C.
- Place the frozen plasma sample directly in the water bath.
- Gently agitate the plasma sample every 5-10 minutes to insure even thawing.
- The total thawing time will depend on the frozen sample volume. A 10 ml sample might be thawed completely in 5 minutes, but a large sample could take up to 1 hour.
- The thawed sample should be used immediately or stored at 4 C for up to 24 hours. Liquid plasma should never be kept on ice or stored below 0 C as the cold may cause clotting.
- Plasma should be visually inspected for signs of clotting or precipitation before use in experiments. A coagulation test such as aPTT can also be performed to verify the preservation of the hemostasis system.
- Plasma should always be snap-frozen by placing the tube in dry ice for at least 1 hour. Large containers can be covered in dry ice for even freezing.
- Frozen plasma should be stored at –20 C or colder. Lower temperatures will help preserve labile plasma proteins for longer time periods.
