Goats were immunized with a highly purified mouse IgE hybridoma protein in CFA. The antiserum was solid phase absorbed to ensure class specificity. The anti epsilon antibodies were immunoaffinity purified off an immunoabsorbant containing a mouse IgE protein different from that used for immunization and conjugated with horseradish peroxidase.
