Goats were immunized with purified normal dog IgE. After multiple immunizations in Freund’s adjuvant the goats were bled, serum collected and the antiserum solid-phase absorbed to ensure class specificity. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified and conjugated with horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
