We asked DALL-E to generate images of cells analyzed by Flow Cytometry

Posted by Wendy Wise on

Flow cytometry is a widely used method for analyzing and quantifying cells. By passing cells through a laser beam, flow cytometry can provide information on various characteristics of the cells, such as size, shape, and fluorescence. We asked DALL-E, an AI system that can create realistic images and art from a description in natural language, to come up with images of cells that have been analyzed using Flow Cytometry. The results were stunning.

Could interpretation augmented by AI systems like DALL-E replace currently accepted methods in the future? Only time will tell.

Check out Innovative Research’s own line of Flow Cytometry products here.

Innovative Research was established in 1998 after the realization that dependable, high-quality, and affordable research materials were hard to come by. Starting with core products like human plasma and serum, Innovative Research has grown to be a trusted supplier of all lab reagents, including human biologicals and ELISA kits. Today, we manufacture and supply thousands of high-quality human and animal biologicals including plasma, serum, tissues, and proteins.
