"... Blood samples from healthy donors were purchased from Innovative Research (Novi, MI). WBCs for the capture rate comparisons were extracted by density gradient centrifugation, resuspended and diluted in 2 mM EDTA in PBS solution. WBCs were obtained this way for the capture benchmark experiments to avoid confounding effects from the presence of RBCs or platelets in the cell solution. ..."
