Before the last (5th) media transfer, some media were incubated in the absence or presence of the HSV-1/HSV-2 monoclonal anti-gD antibody (LifeSpan Biosciences, Seattle, WA) with 10% guinea pig serum (Innovative Research, Novi, MI) for 1 h to neutralize virus.
