”The symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), a major cause of dementia in older adults, are linked directly with neuronal cell death, which is thought to be due to aberrant neuronal inflammation. …Total plasma IgG (Innovative Research, Novi, MI, USA; IHUIGGKT) and IgM (Innovative Research, IHUIGMKT) were measured using commercial enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits, according to the manufacturer’s protocols…”
