IPCIL4R5UGPorcine Interleukin-4 (IL-4) Recombinant from Innovative Research has been recombinantly produced in yeast and purified using ion-exchange chromatography. This is a lyophilized powder with a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
This product is endotoxin free, naturally folded, and post-translationally modified. This product can be used in cell culture, as an ELISA Standard, and as a Western Blot control. Interleukin-4 differentiates Th0 cells into Th2 cells, triggering a positive feedback loop in which Th2 cells then produce additional IL-4. Interleukin-4 plays a part in various biological roles, including functions like inducing B cell class switching to IgE, differentiation of B cells into plasma cells, T cell proliferation, and more.
