Porcine Elastase Immobilized from Innovative Research has been purified from Porcine Pancreas using a combination of gel filtration, ion-exchange, and affinity chromatography then immobilized to an agarose support. This is a resin buffered in 0.1M HEPES; 0.1M NaCl; 0.02% Sodium Azide; pH 7.4, with a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml coupled and a purity of >95%.
This product is useful for digestion of a range of protein and peptide targets. Cleaves PAI-1 between the P3 and P4 residues to create a loop-inserted species that is non-inhibitory towards the target enzymes uPA and tPA. Can be reused.
