Porcine Chemokine CCL3L1 Recombinant from Innovative Research has been recombinantly produced in yeast and purified using ion-exchange chromatography. This is a lyophilized powder with a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.

This product is endotoxin free, naturally folded, and post-translationally modified. This product can be used in cell culture, as an ELISA Standard, and as a Western Blot control. Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 3-like 1 (CCL3L1) binds to several chemokine receptors, including CCBP2 and CCR5. CCR5 is a co-receptor for HIV, and the binding for CCL3L1 will inhibit HIV entry. The copy number of this gene varies from person to person, but typically ranges from 1-6 copies in the diploid genome. Increased copy number leads to greater HIV resistance.
