Human Regenerating Islet-Derived 3 Alpha (Reg3a) ELISA Kit
IHUREG3AKTThis Human Regenerating Islet-Derived 3 Alpha (Reg3a) ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for quantitative detection of human REG3A in cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (heparin). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.
This human REG3A ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from mouse specific for REG3A has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: E27-D175) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for REG3A is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human Fibronectin amount of sample captured in plate.

Additional Information: The capture antibody is a monoclonal antibody from mouse, the detection antibody is a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Regenerating islet-derived protein 3 alpha (or Regenerating islet-derived protein III-alpha) formerly known as HIP/PAP (Hepatocarcinoma-Intestine-Pancreas/Pancreatitis-Associated Protein) and peptide 23 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the REG3A gene. This gene is mapped to 2p12. It encodes a pancreatic secretory protein that may be involved in cell proliferation or differentiation. It has similarity to the C-type lectin superfamily. The enhanced expression of this gene is observed during pancreatic inflammation and liver carcinogenesis. The mature protein also functions as an antimicrobial protein with antibacterial activity. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode the same protein.; Immunogen sequence: 333
