Human Factor VIIa Purified

Human Factor VIIa Purified from Innovative Research has been prepared from purified human factor VII by FXIIa, which is then removed using affinity chromatography. This is a frozen liquid buffered in 20 mM Tris-HCl/ 0.1 M NaCl/ pH 7.4, and a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis. The complex formed by Factor VII and Tissue Factor (Factor III) at the start of the coagulation cascade will be activated to Factor VIIa by various other factors, including Thrombin (Factor Iia), Factor Xa, IXa, and XIIa. The complex formed between Factor VIIa and Tissue Factor (Factor III) acts as a catalyst in converting both Factor IX to IXa and Factor X to Xa, furthering the process of clotting.
