IBOCHY1XLY1GMBovine Alpha Chymotrypsin 1x Crystallized Purified Lyophilized from Innovative Research has been crystallized as zymogen and activated. Dialyzed against 1 mM HCl and lyophilized. This is a lyophilized powder with a concentration of 35 Units/mg protein.
This product preferentially catalyzes the hydrolysis of peptide bonds involving L-isomers of tyrosine, phenylalanine and tryptophan. Chymotrypsin catalyzes the hydrolysis of bonds of leucyl, methionyl, asparaginyl and glutamyl residues.
