Animal Free Alkaline Phosphatase E. Coli Partially PurifiedIAFALPPP10MG
Animal Free Alkaline Phosphatase E. Coli Partially Purified from Innovative Research has been partially purified. This is a suspension in 2.6M ammonium sulfate, pH 8.0.
Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) is an enzyme found throughout the body, with the highest human concentrations typically located in bone and liver cells. ALP primarily removes phosphate groups from organic compounds via hydrolysis. ALP originating from gram-negative bacteria like E. Coli is resistant to inactivation, denaturation, and degradation and is uncommonly soluable. Calf-Intestinal Alkaline Phosphatase catalyzes the removal of phosphate groups from DNA strands, and can be used for applications related to DNA sub-cloning.
