" ... The commercially available serum (Innovative Research, Novi, MI) was pooled from a cohort of 1500 to 3000 healthy normal humans. Each donor unit was tested and found negative for HIV 1&2, HCV, HBsAg, and PRP by FDA approved methods. The serum was stored at âˆ'80 oC until use. The initial volume of serum was 18 mL. It was diluted with an equal volume of PBS ... "
