Description: Thymus glands are collected from
rabbits (New Zealand White or California White, 8 – 10 weeks of age,
either sex and fasted at the time of slaughter) and frozen on dry ice within
30 minutes of slaughter. Thymus powder is prepared using an acetone dehydration
method.

BOVINE PITUITARY EXTRACT
Description: Fresh frozen pituitaries are obtained from normal healthy bovine
cattle. The pituitaries are extracted using a saline extraction. The extract
remains at or below +5oC throughout the procedure until the product is frozen.
*Product is not sterile. Manufacturer recommends sterile filtration prior
to use in cell culture.

RABBIT MUSCLE ACETONE POWDER
Description: Skeletal muscle is collected from young healthy rabbits (New
Zealand White or Californian, 8 – 10 weeks of age, either sex and fasted)
within 6 hours of slaughter and frozen at -20C. Muscle is further processed
using a combination of standard industry protocols with in-house modifications.
Reported to be useful in the purification of actin.
